Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Shenmu Tianyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shenmu Jinjie Tianyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., was established in August 2005 and successfully completed its cooperation and restructuring with Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. in October 2008. The registered capital is 749.69 million yuan, covering an area of over 1,000 mu, with more than 1,200 employees. It is an enterprise engaged in the research and development and industrial promotion of medium-temperature coal tar light-weight comprehensive utilization technology. The company adopts self-developed patented technology, using medium-temperature coal tar as raw material, combining hydrocracking technology with environmental protection technology, achieving integrated construction of coal carbonization (coke oven raw gas, coal tar deep processing), producing qualified light coal tar, and increasing the added value of coal tar. It has now been approved by Shaanxi Province as a resource comprehensive utilization project, conforming to national policies on energy conservation, environmental protection, and circular economy industry development. The company's 500,000 tons/year medium-temperature coal tar light-weight project has a total investment of 1.7 billion yuan, with an annual output of 400,000 tons of light coal tar, 1.35 million tons of semi-coke, 80,000 tons of petroleum coke, 8,000 tons of liquefied gas, 6,000 tons of liquid ammonia, and 2,000 tons of sulfur, with an output value of nearly 3 billion yuan. The completion and operation of this project has played a demonstrative and promotional role in the development of the coal chemical industry, and has also opened up new avenues for the development and application of alternative resources in China.
