Vanke Enterprise Co., Ltd. was established in May 1984, with its headquarters in Shenzhen. It is one of the first batch of joint-stock enterprises listed on the domestic stock market.
Vanke entered the real estate industry in 1988 and established residential development as its core business in 1993. Currently, it is the largest residential development enterprise in China. Beijing Vanke Enterprise Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Beijing Vanke") was established in 1987. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vanke Group, with a registered capital of RMB 2 billion and currently more than 300 employees. To date, Beijing Vanke has been engaged in real estate development for 20 years (since 1994), with a cumulative development area exceeding 7 million square meters. From 2011 to 2013, it achieved sales exceeding RMB 10 billion for three consecutive years, leading the Beijing residential market. In the first half of 2014, it achieved sales exceeding RMB 10 billion in half a year, setting a new record for city companies in the industry.
From the City Garden, Vanke Star Garden, Vanke Zitai, and Vanke Park No. 5 developed since 1994, to the Changyang Peninsula project known as the "City of a Lifetime," the Taihu New Town project responding to new urbanization construction, and the Vanke City project actively responding to the policy of "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development," Beijing Vanke has been committed not only to building dream gardens for the city but also to creating a city supporting service platform for owners, providing a "healthy and abundant" convenient lifestyle near home.
Since 2013, Beijing Vanke has continuously explored new business areas in Vanke Commercial, transitioning from "building good houses for people to live in" to "building good houses for people to use." Its business has expanded to shopping centers, community commerce, office buildings, hotels, elderly care services, and other comprehensive urban supporting service fields. In 2016, Vanke Group achieved cumulative sales of RMB 364.8 billion, and in the first half of 2017, cumulative sales reached RMB 277.2 billion. Rooted in ordinary people, it provides "Three Good" products and services, with ordinary residential housing accounting for 95%.
In 2017, Beijing Vanke achieved collections of RMB 31.3 billion, contract sales of RMB 31 billion, equity profit of RMB 2.85 billion, equity settlement net profit of RMB 1.5 billion, gross margin of 30%, and the highest market share in Beijing.
