Chongqing Information Technology Vocational College

Chongqing Information Technology Vocational College was founded in 1995. In 2001, with the approval of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the filing of the Ministry of Education, Chongqing Information Technology Vocational College was officially established (Ministry of Education Code 12755). The college is a national computer and software technology skill-oriented shortage talent training institution approved by the Ministry of Education, a Chongqing demonstration software college, a Chongqing software talent training base, a Chongqing laptop base talent training institution, a Chongqing high-skilled talent training base, and a Chongqing aesthetic education experimental school. Since its founding, the college has adhered to the educational philosophy of serving as its purpose, promoting employment as its orientation, and following the path of integrating industry, academia, and research. It upholds the educational concept of "no one is omniscient, everyone has talent, and everyone can become a talent," continuously strengthening connotation construction and improving education and teaching quality, enabling the college to achieve significant development. The college currently has two campuses, Jinlong and Tiancheng, covering a total area of 801.47 mu, with more than 600 faculty and staff, including 9 professors and other senior professional titles, 89 associate professors, senior engineers, senior technicians, senior experimentalists and other deputy senior professional titles, and 93 with doctoral and master's degrees.
