Topsec

Topsec is a leading enterprise in China's network security industry and is currently the largest domestic high-tech enterprise specializing in network security technology research, product development, and security services. Topsec was first established in 1995. Its headquarters is currently located in Beijing, and it has branches in 29 provinces and cities including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Shenyang, Chengdu, Changsha, and Wuhan, with more than 700 information security professionals in R&D, consulting, and services. In 1996, Topsec launched the first independently copyrighted firewall product, filling a domestic gap. In the following years, it also launched products such as VPN, filtering gateway, IDS, security audit, and security management, and organized and built the Topsec linkage protocol security standard.
From 2000 to 2004, Topsec ranked first among domestic security vendors in market share for five consecutive years. In particular, according to statistics from the internationally authoritative consulting firm IDC, Topsec ranked first among all domestic and international security vendors in firewall market share in the second half of 2003, breaking the long-term weak position of domestic security vendors and setting a new milestone for domestic network security enterprises.
To date, Topsec has a customer base of more than 10,000 covering industries across the country, including telecommunications, finance, energy, transportation, education, distribution, postal services, and manufacturing.
