仪征市中医院成立于1986年，是一所集医疗、预防、保健为一体的三级中医医院，扬州大学医学院临床学院、南京中医药大学教学医院；江苏省中医院联合体成员。 医院占地面积68亩,建筑面积5.6万平方米,共有临床科室24个，医技检查科室8个，配有3.0MR、64排CT、飞利浦DSA、DR、腹腔镜、电子胃镜、肠镜、彩超、全自动生化分析仪等医疗设备。 医院坚持“中医为主、中西结合”的办院方向，坚持“传承精华、守正创新”，突出中医药特色优势，加强中医药人才培养，加快推进临床专科建设，提高医院综合服务能力。
