[Shanghai Huapu Automobile Co., Ltd.] is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group in Shanghai, located in Fengjing Industrial Park, Jinshan District, Shanghai. It is adjacent to the Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway and is only 80 kilometers away from Shanghai Port and the Yangtze River estuary. With its superior geographic location and convenient transportation, it is the third medium-sized sedan manufacturer in Shanghai to have a national vehicle production catalog, following Shanghai GM and Shanghai Volkswagen. The company was founded in 1999. The first phase project covers an area of 420,000 square meters and was completed and put into operation in 2002, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles. The second phase project covers an area of 1,000,000 square meters, and its first stage was completed and put into operation in August 2007. The current annual production capacity has reached 150,000 vehicles. After the full completion and operation of the second and third stages, the total annual production capacity will reach 350,000 vehicles, making it a brilliant industrial pearl at the southwest gateway of Shanghai.

Shanghai Huapu is composed of Shanghai Huapu Guorun Automobile Co., Ltd., Shanghai Huapu Engine Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yinglun Dihua Automobile Parts Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Huapu Automobile Mold Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Currently, Shanghai Huapu has more than 2,200 employees, including over 300 various senior and intermediate professional and technical personnel, among whom are a large number of senior technical and management talents such as doctors, masters, and senior engineers. They play a significant role in product development, technical quality, production and operation, and marketing services of Shanghai Huapu.
