广东南方电力通信有限公司（以下简称通信公司）为超高压公司代管子公司，成立于1998年11月25日。通信公司具体承担南方电网主干通信网、信息化及网络安全设备管理建设、运维、应急等任务，承担超高压公司电网基建工程部分配套通信系统工程建设，承担通信主网、信息及网络安全的大修技改、信息化项目实施等工作，对外可承接部分通信工程及信息化业务。
