Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital (Hubei Women and Children's Hospital) is a Grade 3A maternal and child health hospital directly under the Hubei Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission. Founded in 1977, it undertakes six major tasks for women and children across the province, including medical care and health protection, technical guidance on family planning, health education, personnel training, maternal and child health information management, and teaching and research, and serves as the provincial guidance center for maternal and child health services.
The hospital covers an area of more than 300 mu, with existing business space of 158,000 square meters. It consists of four parts: the Jiedaokou campus, the Xudong outpatient department, the Dingziqiao Special Children Training Center, and the Guanggu campus. The main campus is located at No. 745 Wuluo Road, Hongshan District, Wuhan. It has 1,900 authorized beds and 1,400 beds actually in use. There are more than 2,000 staff members, including more than 1,600 health technical personnel, more than 300 with associate senior titles or above, and nearly 400 with master's or doctoral degrees. Eight experts enjoy special government allowances from the State Council, and more than 120 experts hold positions of director or above in academic societies at various levels and in various fields.
