宜昌市青少年宫先后荣获“宜昌市文明单位”、“湖北省先进青少年宫”、“全国先进青少年宫”等称号，2005年、2007年被中宣部、中央文明办等十部委授予首届、第二届“中国青少年社会教育银杏奖优秀团队奖”。
