Founded in May 1998, HuaRen Pharmaceutical is a modern pharmaceutical and health industry group integrating research and development, production, and sales, focusing on preparations, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical packaging materials, and medical devices.
In August 2010, the company was successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with the stock abbreviation "HuaRen Pharmaceutical" and stock code "300110". In July 2019, the company underwent an equity change, and the Administrative Committee of Xi'an Qujiang New District became the actual controller of the company.
After more than two decades of development, the company's business focuses on nephrology, respiratory, psychotropic and anesthetic, and large-volume preparations. It has successively established five major production bases in Qingdao, Rizhao, Xiaogan, Pubei, and Hefei, with a total production capacity of 950 million bags (bottles). All production lines have passed the new GMP certification. The company's main products include small-volume injections, peritoneal dialysis solutions, therapeutic infusions, basic infusions, medical devices, tablets, capsules, powders, granules, supporting pharmaceutical packaging, health products, and APIs. Currently, it has 106 varieties and 220 specifications of drugs, including pentazocine injection, doxofylline injection, glycerol fructose sodium chloride injection, and low-calcium peritoneal dialysis solution, achieving integrated development of "API + preparation + pharmaceutical packaging material".
With innovation as the soul of development, in recent years, the company has actively seized strategic development opportunities, focusing on treatment directions in nephrology, respiratory, psychotropic and anesthetic, as well as the screening of new varieties such as large-volume preparations. Benchmarking against first-class domestic and international enterprises, the company continues to increase R&D investment, enrich its R&D pipeline, diversify product lines, and enhance sustainable development capabilities. As of the end of 2023, HuaRen Pharmaceutical and its subsidiaries have obtained a total of 508 authorized patents, including 103 invention patents. Among them, the wholly-owned subsidiary Hengxing Pharmaceutical is one of the 50 national designated manufacturers of Class II psychotropic drug APIs.
Among them, the peritoneal dialysis solution product holds the leading market share among domestic brands.
Through more than 20 years of exploration and practice, the company has successively received honors such as "National Key Technical Transformation 'Double High and One Excellent' Project", "National Intellectual Property Advantage Demonstration Enterprise", "Shandong Province Pharmaceutical Industry Excellent Enterprise for the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China", "Shandong Province Quality Management Award", "Shandong Famous Brand Products", "Shandong Province High-end Brand Cultivation Enterprise", and "Excellent Product Brand for Respiratory System". In 2020, the company was awarded the "2020 National Market Quality Credit AA Level (User Satisfaction Enterprise)" honor by the China Association for Quality. In 2022, the company received the "Shandong Province May Day Labor Certificate". In 2024, it has been honored for five consecutive years as one of the "Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry", ranking 71st.
