China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Fourth Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is a third-level subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, and a large state-owned backbone construction enterprise wholly owned by China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. The Company was founded in 1952, formerly known as the 212th Regiment of the 22nd Brigade of the Capital Construction Engineering Corps. It underwent three transformations: from military to civilian, from civilian to military, and back to civilian. In September 1983, it was collectively reorganized into China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Fourth Construction Company, and in December 2007, it was restructured into its current form. The Company is headquartered in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao. It currently employs nearly 3,000 people, with 90% born after 1980, over 80% born after 1985, and 60% born after 1990. Among them, there is 1 professor-level senior engineer, 80 senior professionals, and 519 certified personnel; 86% of employees hold a bachelor's degree or above. The Company has 668 Party members, accounting for 24.1% of its workforce. The Company's business scope covers Shandong, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Liaoning, Jilin, Chongqing, Hebei, Guangdong, Hainan, and other regions. The Company holds the special-grade qualification for general contracting of housing construction engineering, and first-grade qualifications for professional contracting of steel structures, foundation and groundwork, architectural decoration and finishing, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, and building intelligent engineering. From 2015 to 2019, the Company's cumulative contracted amount, operating revenue, and profit reached over RMB 90 billion, over RMB 40 billion, and nearly RMB 3 billion, respectively, with average annual growth rates of 48%, 36.34%, and 97.0%. In 2019, the Company's comprehensive strength ranked among the top four of CSCEC's numbered companies and ranked 16th among Qingdao's top 100 enterprises.
