IKEA's Talent Philosophy:
"We want to provide development opportunities for those who are down-to-earth and honest, not only in career development but also in personal capability growth. Through this, we will unswervingly work together to create a better everyday life for our customers and for ourselves."
IKEA's talent philosophy clearly articulates our hiring criteria -- "down-to-earth and honest." For applicants, IKEA never imposes specific requirements or restrictions based on gender, age, education, ethnicity, religious belief, or life background. As long as they are proven to be the most suitable candidates, they will be recruited and grow together with IKEA.
IKEA provides various training opportunities and development spaces, expecting employees to proactively take responsibility for their own professional training and personal development. This means that employees should proactively learn, try new knowledge and working methods, and be willing to share knowledge and experience with others.
As managers, IKEA also has specific requirements. In their work, managers must set an example for employees and create a harmonious and pleasant working atmosphere for their teams. Managers need to pay attention to each subordinate, listen to their ideas and difficulties, and encourage them to strive and develop. At the same time, every manager should proactively take on the responsibility of cultivating future IKEA managers.
This philosophy has always been followed by IKEA, and practice has proven it ensures IKEA's global success. Similarly, in China, IKEA has seen the value it brings through development. Talent is the most precious resource in an enterprise, and this is fully reflected at IKEA. IKEA has invested heavily in talent discovery and cultivation and has reaped returns from it.

Learning and Development System:
IKEA's development is inseparable from employees who aspire to their own growth! With more stores being established in China, we believe IKEA can provide many attractive development opportunities for internal employees, sparing no effort to offer learning tools and resources to help those down-to-earth and sincere employees improve their personal work capabilities and achieve a better everyday life through working at IKEA!
