Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology

Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology is a full-time regular undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of China. Located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, it is a key applied-characteristic undergraduate university in Jiangxi Province. It is a specialized institution oriented to the fashion industry, focusing on cultivating senior specialized talents in creative design, engineering technology, marketing promotion, and business management. The predecessor of the school was the private Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology, established in July 1991; in February 1998, it was renamed Jiangxi Fashion Specialized College; in April 2003, the school was renamed Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology Vocational College, becoming a full-time regular higher education institution with independent qualification to issue national higher education diplomas. [2] In April 2011, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was established as an undergraduate higher education college and officially renamed Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology. [3]

According to the school's official website in August 2016, Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology covers an area of 1,300 mu with a building area of 700,000 square meters; it has more than 500 full-time teachers and over 10,000 students; it has 7 colleges and 2 teaching departments, 19 undergraduate programs, and more than 20 junior college programs.
