Company Overview
China Industrial Group Wuhan Heavy Machine Tool Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is one of the 156 key projects during China's "First Five-Year Plan" period, and is a large backbone enterprise in China producing heavy and super-heavy machine tools with a complete range of extreme specifications. In October 2011, the Company became a subsidiary group unit of China Industrial Group Co., Ltd., undertaking the important task of developing China's heavy equipment sector. The Company is currently the rotating chairman unit of China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association, the chairman unit of the Heavy Machine Tool Branch, and the affiliated unit of the director committee and secretariat of heavy machine tool standardization.
Through the implementation of overall relocation and transformation, the Company has become a CNC heavy and super-heavy machine tool R&D base with strong processing equipment capabilities, complete functions, and comprehensive manufacturing strength in China, as well as a high-quality international processing and collaboration base in China. It has established a large number of national or industry-level innovation platforms, including the National Enterprise Technology Center, National Technology Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, National Postdoctoral Research Workstation, National High-end Heavy Machine Tool Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, Machinery Industry High-end Heavy Machine Tool Engineering Research Center, and Academician Expert Workstation.
Wuzhong's leading products include heavy and super-heavy vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, floor-type milling and boring machines, gantry boring and milling machines, gear hobbing machines, rotary worktables, shield tunneling machines, roller cone drilling machines, railway equipment, and various special mechanical equipment, covering 10 major categories, more than 50 series, and over 400 varieties. All products have achieved CNC and compound functions; the Company can provide customers with machine tool overhaul and transformation, equipment remanufacturing, mechanical processing services, and various castings and metal structural parts. Up to now, more than 20,000 sets of mother machines developed by the Company have served China's energy, transportation, metallurgy, machinery, railway, aviation, aerospace, and other industries, and have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions.

The Company currently has more than 3,000 on-duty employees, including more than 600 engineering and technical personnel. Among them, there are 7 national experts, 12 provincial experts, 26 municipal experts, 2 Chinese scientists, 2 science and technology leaders, 1 young science and technology leader, 22 Wuzhong Group science and technology leaders, and 69 science and technology backbone personnel.
