About the Company

GAC Honda Automobile Research & Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GAC Honda R&D Company) was established on July 19, 2007, located in Guangzhou City. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary independently invested by GAC Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GAC Honda), with a registered capital of 500 million RMB and an initial investment of 2 billion RMB. Its main business is the technical research and development of complete vehicles and their parts and components, as well as providing related technical consulting and technical services. It is the first automotive technology R&D company independently invested by a joint venture and operated as an independent legal entity. Adhering to Honda's development philosophy of "technology leadership" and GAC's philosophy of "learning advanced technology through joint ventures," GAC Honda established the R&D company to create an R&D environment free from the influence of daily production and sales activities, unrestricted by time and space, and to foster a research atmosphere full of dreams, freedom, vitality, and openness, aiming to develop advanced automotive technologies and products that are localized in China and expected by society and consumers. Currently, it mainly develops brand models based on the concept.
