Sinomach Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sinomach Intelligence") is affiliated with China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), a key central state-owned enterprise and Fortune Global 500 company. Sinomach Intelligence is one of the first batch of national restructured research institutes, formerly known as the Guangzhou Tropical Machine Tool Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry (a comprehensive first-class research institution directly under the former Ministry of Machinery Industry), founded in 1958. Its subsidiary, Suzhou Electrical Discharge Machining Machine Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd., is the administrative unit for the EDM industry directly under the former Ministry of Machinery Industry, established in 1958.
Sinomach Intelligence upholds the mission of "Strengthening the industrial foundation to serve the country, leading the future with intelligence," focusing on three major business areas: "Industrial Three Foundations" (basic components, basic materials, and basic processes), inspection and testing, and intelligent manufacturing. It primarily engages in sealing (seals, sealants), lubrication (lubricating oils, greases), hydraulics (electromechanical hydraulic systems), oil testing, robot and automotive parts testing, intelligent equipment (special processing machine tools), intelligent remote operation and maintenance (online health monitoring of major equipment), intelligent factories, and system integration.
Sinomach Intelligence is a national innovative enterprise, a national high-tech enterprise, and a national technology innovation demonstration enterprise. In recent years, the company's party committee has played the role of a national scientific research team, successively undertaking a large number of national and provincial key scientific and technological research tasks, participating in the establishment of the "Central Enterprises Innovation Consortium for Key Basic Components of Major Equipment," leading the formation of a "Seal Component Research Collaborative," actively cultivating and building a "source" for original technologies in rubber-plastic seals, and undertaking multiple "bottleneck" technology research projects, achieving outstanding scientific research and innovation results. During the pandemic in 2020, Sinomach Intelligence demonstrated the responsibility of a central enterprise: it developed flat mask machines within 10 days, with total production ranking among the forefront of central enterprises, making significant contributions to the national epidemic response. It was highly commended by the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission, and was honored with the titles of "National Advanced Collective in COVID-19 Response" and "National Outstanding Primary Party Organization."
