It was initiated by the former Ministry of Internal Trade, approved by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA), and accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). It is a professional certification institution with independent legal personality, engaged in ISO 9001 quality management system certification, ISO 14001 environmental management system certification, and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system certification. It can issue certificates bearing the CNAS mark and the IAF international multilateral mutual recognition mark. According to the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (IAF/MLA), certification certificates issued by Zhongwulian can be recognized and accepted in 43 countries and regions worldwide, including major developed countries in Europe and the Americas.
