Hunan Ningxiang Jiweixin Metal Powder Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production of fine spherical aluminum powder. Founded in 1997, the company was jointly acquired by Toyo Aluminium K.K. of Japan and Shanghai Matsuo Trading Co., Ltd. in December 2009, thus becoming a Sino-foreign joint venture. The company is located in the Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hunan Province, with very convenient transportation and complete supporting facilities.
Since introducing the high-tech achievement from the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997—the nitrogen atomization technology for producing fine spherical aluminum powder—the company has continuously carried out technological transformation and innovation. Based on its original production technology, it independently developed a higher-level atomization production line for fine spherical aluminum powder. This technology has been proven in practice to have reached the leading level among international peers. The company can produce fine spherical aluminum powder products in various specifications with a median particle size d50 ranging from 1 to 45 μm. At present, the company has two production lines and seven classification lines, with an annual production capacity of 8,000 tons. The products are widely used in high-grade metal pigments, conductive paste for solar cells, high-grade refractory materials, chemical catalysts, pesticides, aluminum alloy powders, fireworks and firecrackers, anti-corrosion metal coatings, and other industries.
