中国电子科技集团公司第十八研究所（天津电源研究所）坐落在渤海之滨天津市，是我国化学与物理电源行业中成立*早、规模*大、技术实力雄厚的综合性化学与物理电源研究所。全所现有职工1800余人，其中科技人员800余人，集团首席科学家1人、集团公司首席专家3人，享受政府特殊津贴专家11人，研究员级高工45人。
1958年建所以来，十八所研制和生产出50多个系列、1000多个品种规格的民用产品，累计取得各类成果2000余项，为我国*颗卫星、*颗原子弹、*颗氢弹等多项国家重点工程提供了高技术、高质量、高可靠的电源产品，产品覆盖海、陆、空、天、电等各个领域。
十八所坚持以科技进步和自主创新为主线，全面完成了探月工程、载人航天工程等一系列重大工程电源系统的研制生产任务。全所4次喜获全国五一劳动奖状这一崇高荣誉，获得*科技奖16项，科技奖33项，集团公司科技奖27项，专利130余项等。
