Sinosteel Tiancheng

Sinosteel Tiancheng Environmental Protection Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Sinosteel Tiancheng) was established in 2001 with the approval of the State Economic and Trade Commission (Guo Jing Mao Qi Gai [2001] No. 289). Its predecessor was the Safety and Environmental Protection Research Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, founded in 1959. The controlling shareholder of the company is Sinosteel International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 000928), a first-tier subsidiary of China Baowu. The company is mainly engaged in research and development of environmental protection technologies such as air pollution control, energy conservation and carbon reduction, and resource utilization of industrial solid waste/organic waste, as well as equipment manufacturing, engineering design and consulting, operation and maintenance of environmental protection facilities, and engineering general contracting. Sinosteel Tiancheng holds multiple qualifications, including Grade A for ecological construction and environmental engineering consulting, Grade A for environmental engineering design, Grade 1 for professional contracting of environmental protection engineering, and Grade 1 for operation of desulfurization and denitrification facilities. It has implemented more than 1,000 flue gas treatment projects, and its scientific and technological achievements have been widely applied in industries such as steel, petroleum and petrochemical, power, non-ferrous metals, and building materials, playing a positive role in driving the development of air pollution control technology in China. Sinosteel Tiancheng has long been committed to the research, development, and promotion of air pollution control technology. It is the supporting institution of two * engineering technology centers: the "National Industrial Flue Gas Dust Removal Engineering Technology Research Center" of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the "Industrial Flue Gas Control Engineering Technology Center" of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. Together with Tsinghua University and other institutions, it undertakes work for the "National Engineering Research Center for Synergistic Control of Air Pollutants and Greenhouse Gases" of the National Development and Reform Commission. It has an academician expert workstation focusing on industrial flue gas pollution and carbon reduction technology, and a * postdoctoral research workstation. It has cumulatively implemented more than 20 new technology (new product) development projects, 4 national key research and development plan projects, and 3 National 863 Program projects, and undertaken 37 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects. It has won 1 first prize and 1 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 17 provincial and ministerial-level awards. It has formulated more than 50 standards, specifications, and industry development reports for the country and the industry, and obtained more than 140 authorized patents. Its independently developed "PM2.5 Control Technology and Equipment for Steel Kiln Flue Gas" was selected as a single champion product in the seventh batch of manufacturing industry by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and included in the list of qualified suppliers under the "Specification Conditions for Environmental Protection Equipment Manufacturing Industry (Air Pollution Control)" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
