The building intelligentization system integration industry is an important civilian product industry of the 709th Research Institute. It possesses a Grade II qualification for computer information system integration, a Grade I qualification for building intelligentization system integration, a Grade A qualification for building intelligentization design, and a Grade I qualification for security engineering. It is a very famous building intelligentization system integrator in Hubei Province and even nationwide.
The 709th Research Institute currently has over a thousand employees, including more than 50 researchers, more than 160 senior technical personnel, and more than 270 intermediate professional technical personnel. It has 3 master's degree programs covering all secondary disciplines of "Computer Science and Technology," one doctoral program and one postdoctoral research station, 12 research directions, 15 graduate supervisors, and 7 doctoral supervisors. Our institute covers an area of 137,000 square meters, with fixed assets exceeding 100 million yuan, strong scientific research strength, and complete experimental means. It has more than 2,000 sets of instruments and equipment, and has built 2 laboratories for system simulation and system joint debugging, 2 design centers for EDA and mechanical CAD, 4 testing centers for integrated circuit testing, routine inspection and testing, and software testing, and possesses 3 production lines with complete facilities for electronic assembly, printed board manufacturing, and mechanical processing.
