China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau South China Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a directly affiliated main company of "China State Construction Engineering Corporation", ranked 18th among the Fortune Global 500, and is a resident investment and construction unit in Guangdong under "China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd.". Established in 1997, the Company originated from the "advance team" of CSCEC Fourth Bureau in the Guangdong market—CSCEC Fourth Bureau Guangdong Branch, which was renamed CSCEC Fourth Bureau South China Branch in 2002. In 2019, it was registered in Huangpu District, Guangzhou as an independent legal entity—China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau South China Construction Co., Ltd., and officially relocated to Huangpu District, embarking on a new journey.
Currently, the Company holds first-class qualifications for general contracting of building engineering construction, professional contracting for building decoration, building curtain wall engineering, and electronic and intelligent engineering. Its main business covers housing construction, infrastructure, real estate development, and investment construction.
In recent years, the Company has developed steadily and deeply cultivated the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It currently has nearly 1,800 management personnel and an annual output value of nearly 10 billion yuan. The Company has three branch companies (Foshan, Guangzhou, and direct) and an infrastructure business department. It has 1 party committee, 3 general party branches, 24 party branches, and over 200 party members.
The Company focuses on undertaking "high", "large", "precision", and "fast" projects, and has successively built a large number of large and ultra-large projects with tight schedules, high quality requirements, and high difficulty, establishing an image of high-end brand, high-end market, and high-end products in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, demonstrating the demeanor of a central state-owned enterprise.
The Company has successively undertaken (or participated in) the construction of numerous super high-rise buildings, including Guangzhou West Tower (440.85 meters), Taikoo Hui (211.95 meters), Guangxi Financial Plaza (365.5 meters), Guiyang Kempinski Hotel (222 meters), Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center (201 meters), Guangzhou Evergrande Center (189 meters), Guangdong Global One Tower (165 meters), Guangzhou Jincheng Building, and Guangzhou Liede Center.
From undertaking the Guangzhou Pearl River International Textile City (known as the "largest textile exhibition center in Asia"), Guiyang Zhongtian Convention and Exhibition City (2.64 million square meters), and Guiyang International Financial Center (5 million square meters), to the successful completion of Guiyang Future Ark (13 million square meters) and the old city reconstruction project of Guiyang Huaguoyuan Pengjiawan (22 million square meters), the Company has also completed a magnificent transformation from "building buildings" to "building cities".
Upholding the responsibility of a central state-owned enterprise, the Company rises to challenges and has repeatedly participated in the construction of public building projects with tight schedules, high difficulty, and high quality, such as airport projects like the new Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Tower and Air Traffic Management Building, Baiyun Airport Terminal 2, and the East 3 and West 3 Finger Piers; Asian Games Village series including the Asian Games Media Village, Velodrome, Event Management Center, and primary and secondary schools; venues and school series such as Guangzhou University Performing Arts Center, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Campus on University Town, Yuanyangcheng School (Primary and Secondary School) Project, Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, and Guangzhou Science and Education City Project (the largest prefabricated EPC project nationwide); and resettlement housing series like the comprehensive water conservancy improvement project of Zhengtang Village and Zengtang Village in Zengcheng District, Bao'an "Yishui", and Shiqing Avenue projects.
At the same time, the Company closely follows national policy directions and vigorously develops infrastructure business, having successively undertaken projects such as the Guangzhou Xinzhou to Hualong Expressway Project, the Guanghe River Extra-Large Bridge on Lot D2 of Guangzhou Xinhua Road, the Second Contract Section of Zhongshan Eastern Expressway, the Zheng'an to Xishui Expressway in Guizhou Province, the Songtao to Yuping Intercity Rapid Road, the Sunshine Road Project in Liuzhi Special District, the Phase II Road Network Construction of Huancui New District in Zhenning Autonomous County, and the Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain-Luhu Lake-Yuexiu Mountain Connection Project. With the spirit of "gnawing hard bones", the Company overcame numerous difficulties such as high altitude, relocation of three-line facilities, land delivery, and obstruction coordination, building "flying dragons" that turn natural barriers into thoroughfares.
The Company consistently adheres to quality assurance and perfect contract performance. It has successively created 7 Luban Prize projects, including the Guangzhou Customs New Business Technology Complex, Guangdong Global One Tower, Zhongshan Expo Center, Zhongshan Cultural Center, Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center C1 Conference Center, Guangzhou Taikoo Hui, and Guangxi Financial Plaza; won the Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize twice; obtained over 32 provincial-level or above quality projects, 3 national AAA-level safety and civilized standard sites, over 50 municipal-level or above standardized model sites, 5 green construction demonstration projects, 1 LEED Platinum and 1 Gold Award for Green Energy and Environmental Design Pioneer, 13 national and provincial construction methods, 3 provincial/ministerial science and technology awards, 16 national invention patents, 2 BIM application awards, and published 49 papers in SCI and national core journals.
