Guizhou Provincial Water Resources and Hydropower Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 1958, restructured into a wholly state-owned enterprise in 2006, and officially transformed into a state-controlled mixed-ownership enterprise in 2020. It is a comprehensive survey, design, and research unit integrating planning and consulting, survey and design, scientific research and testing, environmental impact assessment and water conservation, supervision, construction, and general engineering contracting. As a high-tech enterprise in Guizhou Province, it has established a postdoctoral research workstation, the Guizhou Karst Water Resources Development and Utilization Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Guizhou Provincial Enterprise Technology Center. It is also a provincial intellectual property advantage cultivation enterprise and a publishing base for scientific and technological works of China Water & Power Press and Guizhou Provincial Water Resources and Hydropower Survey, Design, and Research Institute.
