青海省水利水电勘测设计研究院始建于1957年1月10日,建院50年来,累计完成勘测、规划、设计项目1000余项。是青海省境内*的一个集水利水电勘测、规划、设计和科研为一体的综合性勘测设计研究单位,是目前青海省内设备先进、机构合理、门类齐全的*大的甲级设计单位。我院现具有各类资质17个,其中有工程勘察、水利行业设计、水利工程咨询、工程测量、工程总承包、水资源论证、水文水资源调查评价和编制水土保持方案九个甲级资质；电力行业设计、建筑工程设计、工程咨询(水电、地质)等四个乙级资质；送变电工程设计、工程监理、市政公用工程设计、农林行业设计四个丙级资质,并于2001年7月通过了ISO9001国际质量认证。
