Wuhan Central Hospital of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau was founded in 1955, with a history of 68 years. It is a public secondary general hospital integrating medical treatment, prevention, rehabilitation and health care. It is a designated hospital for basic medical insurance for urban employees and residents of Wuhan, medical insurance for college students, work-related injury medical insurance, and maternity insurance of Wuhan. It has 15 first-level clinical departments including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology, Stomatology, and Dermatology. It is equipped with advanced equipment such as 1.5T magnetic resonance, 64-slice CT, oral CT, multiple DRs, imported color Doppler ultrasound instruments, gastrointestinal endoscopes, endoscopes, laparoscopes, fiberoptic bronchoscopes, imported fully automatic biochemical assembly lines, purified operating rooms, high-configuration ICU, and imported hemodialysis machines.
