Since its official establishment in December 2008, it has developed rapidly and has been rated among the top 20 third-level engineering companies of China Railway Group for three consecutive years. The headquarters is located in Fengtai District, Beijing, with business scope covering residential projects, railway station buildings, municipal transportation, public buildings, and large-scale factories, achieving coordinated and comprehensive development. Based in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, it strengthens its presence in four provinces: Hubei, Zhejiang, Hebei, and Shanxi; and deeply cultivates 12 core cities including Beijing, Xiong'an, Wuhan, Quzhou, Shaoxing, and Hangzhou. In response to the national call, China Railway Construction Engineering Group registered and established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Xiong'an New Area in February 2023 - China Railway Construction Engineering Group Development Co., Ltd., which operates in parallel with the North China Branch. It is the first enterprise of China Railway Group's industrial cluster to register and settle in Xiong'an New Area.
