Ningbo Zhongjin Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), established in September 2004, is located in Ningbo Petrochemical Economic and Technological Development Zone and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rongsheng Petrochemical Co., Ltd. The Company pioneered the process of producing aromatics from fuel oil, which was put into operation in August 2015, and is currently the world's largest single-series aromatics complex in operation (with an annual aromatics output of 2.1 million tons).

The Company has a registered capital of RMB 4.6 billion, covers an area of 2,500 mu, and currently has total assets of RMB 24 billion, with more than 1,300 employees. In 2017, the total output value reached RMB 13.656 billion and sales revenue reached RMB 14.242 billion; in 2018, the total output value was RMB 19.174 billion and sales revenue was RMB 19.439 billion.
