Shanghai Liansheng Automotive Supporting Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Liansheng) was officially established in November 2006, located in Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Volkswagen United Development Co., Ltd., mainly engaged in automotive process subcontracting and final assembly manufacturing. Its business covers 22 workshops including body, paint, and final assembly across 7 vehicle plants of SAIC Volkswagen, involving 17 vehicle models and 86 modules, and covering multiple production processes such as welding, PVC, and assembly during automobile manufacturing. It also undertakes the pre-assembly of powertrains for models such as Fabia, Polo, Octavia, Superb, Touran, Tiguan, Yeti, Lavida, Phideon, Teramont, Lamando, and Kodiak, totaling 170 pre-assembly tasks. The company adopts lean production and modern logistics methods, and has passed the SAIC Volkswagen A-level production line certification, as well as TS16949 quality management system and OHSAS occupational health and safety system certifications, providing customers with high-quality modular products through JIT delivery.
