Wuhan Second Social Welfare Institute is affiliated with the Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau and is a social welfare unit fully funded by the state finance. It primarily takes in socially vulnerable people such as those who are mentally disabled, intellectually disabled, simple-minded, or physically disabled. The unit currently has 150 employees, 80% of whom are professional and technical personnel. It is located in the Longquanshan Scenic Area of the East Lake High-tech Development Zone. The courtyard is beautifully scenic and is an excellent place for the elderly to recuperate.
