Changsha County Zebang Youth Training School

Changsha Zebang Youth Training School was approved and established in September 2007 by the Changsha County Education Bureau, and is directly supervised by it. It is a specialized school dedicated to the transformative education of "problem" youth. To date, it has successfully trained over three thousand person-times of adolescents and students with undesirable habits such as internet addiction, rebellion, truancy and school aversion, early romantic relationships, and disrespect for parents, and has been highly praised by families and society. The school currently has 32 staff members, including psychology teachers, academic and specialty training teachers, life counseling teachers, military instructors, and administrative personnel. It is a specialized school with a long history of operation, advanced educational concepts, rich management experience, and a strict prohibition against physical punishment and verbal abuse of students. The school is surrounded by picturesque mountains and clear waters, with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. It is located beside the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and National Highway 107, only a dozen minutes' drive from the Changsha Xingsha Economic and Technological Development Zone. The school enrolls students year-round and welcomes parents to inquire, visit, and provide guidance. Changsha Zebang School Gate Changsha Zebang School Campus Scene The school has been successively awarded the title of "Changsha Youth Growth Education Demonstration Base" by the Communist Youth League Changsha Municipal Committee; it is a standing council member unit of the Changsha Private Education Association; a collaborative unit for psychological education research of the Mental Health Promotion Research Center of the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences; and a research base for the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" project of the Chinese Society of Education—"Theoretical Construction of School Psychological Education System and the Application of Psychological Techniques in Education". Our school has also undertaken a sub-project research of this overall project—"Exploration of the Causes and Countermeasures of Psychological Problems of Adolescents from Single-Parent Families".
