Changsha GAC Dongyang Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (Chinese abbreviation: GAC Dongyang, English abbreviation: gaty) was jointly established by Guangzhou Automobile Group Component Co., Ltd. and Taiwan Dongyang Enterprise Group's Cayman Islands-registered Dongyang Holding Co., Ltd. The company was founded in March 2011, with a registered capital of USD 35 million and a total investment of RMB 546 million. It is located in the GAC FCA Parts Industrial Park in Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of approximately 45,000 square meters.
The company is a modern enterprise integrating the design, development, production, manufacturing, and sales of automotive bumpers, exterior trim parts, and spoilers, with production processes mainly involving injection molding and painting. The company's construction was carried out in two phases. Phase I was put into operation in August 2012, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 sets of bumpers and exterior trim parts and 150,000 pieces of spoilers; the company's annual production capacity is 450,000 sets of bumpers and exterior trim parts and 305,000 pieces of spoilers, reaching full capacity in 2016. With internationally advanced technology, processes, and production experience, as well as scientific management methods, the company has been strongly guaranteed in gradually forming the capability and quality level for synchronous development, design, and manufacturing of large automotive plastic parts with OEMs.
