Chongqing Shuangqing Industry Group Co., Ltd. was established in 2000 and is a designated national motorcycle manufacturer. In 2005, the company obtained the "Motorcycle Production Access Qualification" from the National Development and Reform Commission, and obtained export qualifications for various types of motorcycles jointly reviewed and granted by the Ministry of Commerce, the China Quality Certification Center, the National Development and Reform Commission, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, and the General Administration of Customs. It has passed the CCC compulsory certification of the China Quality Certification Center, ISO9001:2000 international quality system certification, and ISO14001:2004 environmental management system certification. The products approved for production by the National Development and Reform Commission and the China Quality Certification Center include six brands—"Shuangqing", "Shancheng", "Jiaguan", "Donghong", "Jinhong", and "Huajun"—with a total of 287 varieties, and another 24 varieties have passed the E-MARK certification of the European Union. It is a key industrial enterprise in Yubei District.
Chongqing Shuangqing Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. is a large high-tech enterprise under Shuangqing Group, with a planned investment of more than 2 billion yuan, and its business scope includes engine and complete vehicle R&D and manufacturing. The planned complete vehicle industrial park is located in the Airport Industrial Park of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, adjacent to Chongqing Jiangbei Airport. It is expected to complete an annual production capacity of 200,000 complete vehicles and 300,000 automobile engines by 2013. By 2015, it will complete an annual production capacity of 300,000 complete vehicles and 500,000 automobile engines.
