Chongqing Jiulongpo Mintai Village Bank was approved by the Chongqing Regulatory Bureau of the China Banking Regulatory Commission and jointly initiated by Zhejiang Mintai Commercial Bank and the Jiulongpo District Government. It was established in July 2012 as a banking institution with independent legal personality. Zhejiang Mintai Commercial Bank was founded on August 18, 2006. It is a joint-stock commercial bank with independent legal personality approved by the China Banking Regulatory Commission. It currently has more than 6,000 employees, with 11 branches in Shanghai, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Ningbo, and other cities, and more than 100 sub-branches (including those in preparation). It has initiated the establishment of 9 Mintai Village Banks in nine provinces and municipalities across the country.
The head office of Chongqing Jiulongpo Mintai Village Bank is located at No. 7 Xiejiawan Main Street, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. It currently has 6 business outlets, including the Head Office Business Department, Baishiyi Sub-branch, Xipeng Sub-branch, Shiqiaopu Sub-branch, Jiulong Sub-branch, and Huayan Sub-branch. It plans to establish another sub-branch in Hangu Town within the year.
