Hunan Xinguang'an Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. is located in the Industrial Park of Langli Town, Economic Development Zone, Changsha City, Hunan Province, a place with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation.
The predecessor of Hunan Xinguang'an Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. was Hunan Guang'an Biotechnology Co., Ltd., founded in October 1996. It is a comprehensive enterprise. In December 2008, the company was wholly converted into a joint-stock company with a registered capital of 80 million yuan.
The company currently has 3 controlled subsidiaries -- Youxian Guang'an Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., Changsha Guang'an Haishang Organic Fertilizer Co., Ltd., and Hunan Guang'an Animal Health Products Co., Ltd., and 1 wholly-owned subsidiary -- Wuxuan County Fengyuan Livestock Co., Ltd.
The company has jointly established Hunan Province's first Pig Disease Prevention and Control Center and Breeding Center with the Hunan Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine; jointly established a Doctoral Workstation with the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences; the research project jointly studied by the technology platform mainly built by the company's Technology Department and the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, "Research and Application of Nitrogen and Phosphorus Nutritional Metabolism Regulation and Environmental Safety Technology in Pigs", won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize of Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. "Research and Application of Intestinal Health and Functionality in Piglets" won the First Prize of Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award; the company's independently developed "Development and Application of 102 Series High-grade Piglet Creep Feed" was appraised by domestic animal husbandry experts as reaching "the leading level of similar research in China", and won the First Prize of Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award.
