Guangzhou Diqi Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2011, and is a Sino-US joint venture founded by an overseas-educated technical team and domestic entrepreneurs. Diqi is equipped with supporting instruments and R&D laboratories, as well as two clean workshops: one for the production of GLP samples and Phase I and II clinical products for oral formulations, and one for the production of GLP samples for injections. Diqi focuses on the development and industrialization of high-end formulations, including sustained and controlled release preparations, targeted nano-preparations, long-acting preparations, and supporting high-end excipients. Leveraging these technologies, it provides full-industry-chain technical consulting, product development, and manufacturing services for innovative drug and generic drug enterprises both domestically and internationally.
Diqi has technology platforms for targeted nano, long-acting injectable microspheres, PEGylation, sustained and controlled release formulations, generic drug R&D and industrialization, and high-end excipients.
Diqi has filed 56 invention patent applications, has been granted 20 Chinese invention patents, 18 European patents, 1 Japanese invention patent, and 1 Korean invention patent. It has obtained 5 scientific and technological achievement certificates, and 6 self-developed Class 2 innovative drugs are in the preclinical stage.
Among the products entrusted to Diqi for development, 1 has been approved for marketing by the U.S. FDA, 1 has obtained a domestic clinical trial approval, 5 have been submitted as supplementary applications for consistency evaluation, 9 products are under review by CDE, and 15 products have passed formal BE studies.
Diqi is located on Guangzhou International Bio Island, known for its beautiful scenery and fresh air, with an office area of 3,331 square meters. The office space includes multiple functional areas, such as office areas, formulation laboratories, pharmaceutical analysis laboratories, high-end formulation laboratories, and clean workshops for oral formulations, injections, special preparations, and pharmaceutical excipients.
