In 2010, the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government introduced Singapore Wits Group to cooperate in establishing Nanchang International School, to meet the educational needs of children of foreign experts and senior management personnel in Jiangxi Province. Nanchang International School adopts the IB PYP curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organization, which is the most popular among parents worldwide. IB currently has four major curriculum frameworks: PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme), DP (Diploma Programme), and CP (Career-related Programme). The school's teaching and activity facilities include: homeroom classrooms, art room, music room, Chinese/Sinology classroom, STEM classroom, library, hall, small theater, cafeteria, multi-function hall, indoor gymnasium, and outdoor sports field.
