2012年7月，江门首家专业男性健康研究中心——江门市民康男性健康研究中心在江门民康男科正式挂牌成立，填补了我省没有专门男性健康服务机构的空白。该中心是江门地区首家权威围绕“男性健康”为主题的专业服务机构，以先进的医疗科技和高品质的人文服务引领男性健康发展新方向，推动江门地区男科临床规范的应用和发展，中心在借鉴美国哈佛大学医学院研究推广的Disease疾病防御系统的基础上，独创一整套男科的评估、预测预警和治疗模式，为临床患者提供科学的诊疗方案，维护男性健康，全面提升男性生活质量，关注社会和谐与家庭幸福。
