Guohong Group was founded in 1989. Cao Guohong, the founder and current chairman, started with raising 38 piglets, growing from an individual household into a specialized household, then founded the company in 1997 and established the group in 2004, going through more than 20 years of arduous entrepreneurship. The enterprise has grown into a large comprehensive enterprise group with coordinated development of multiple industries integrating planting, breeding, feed production, pig slaughtering, deep food processing, self-operated export, cold-chain distribution, chain sales, agricultural development, and eco-tourism. At present, the company covers about 2,535 mu, has more than 1,000 employees, and total assets exceeding 1.14 billion yuan. Guohong Group's deep processing is a * key engineering project and one of Jiangxi Province's key projects. Since 1994, cumulative exports of live large pigs to Hong Kong have reached 558,000 head.
