Guangzhou Samsung Communication Technology Research Co., Ltd. (SRC-G, referred to as Guangzhou Samsung Communication Research Institute) is a large-scale mobile phone R&D center established by Samsung Electronics in China since 2008, with a registered capital of USD 7 million and a total investment of USD 60 million, belonging to a wholly foreign-owned enterprise.

Currently, Guangzhou Samsung Communication Research Institute has about 500 employees, over 80% of whom hold a bachelor's degree or above. At its inception, Guangzhou Samsung focused on R&D of new mobile phone technologies and development of commercial mobile phone projects. Since 2018, it has gradually transformed into a software-oriented research institute. In addition to its existing commercial mobile phone software development business, it is also responsible for the development of applications and services for multiple types of devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and watches in the Chinese market. It continues to deepen cooperation with leading Chinese AI companies and internet companies, conducting development of various software innovation projects such as generative AI applications and services in China.
