Company Establishment Background According to the requirements of the "Reform and Development Plan for the Pearl River Delta Region" issued by the State Council and the instructions from the leaders of the provincial party committee and provincial government to solve the current situation of "multiple cards coexisting, multiple cards incompatible", the provincial government approved the "Implementation Plan for the Provincial Public Transport One-Card Operation" drafted by the Department of Transport of Guangdong Province. Under the supervision of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, and under the specific deployment of the Department of Transport of Guangdong Province, on June 28, 2011, with the cooperation of multiple enterprises, Guangdong Lingnan Tong Joint-stock Co., Ltd. was formally established to advance the provincial public transport one-card work, aiming to establish a unified traffic one-card "quasi-UnionPay" system across the province, realizing "one card in hand, smooth travel in Lingnan", and providing the most convenient public transport travel services for the people of Lingnan. Company Business Introduction Based on the payment services for the public transport industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region, the company extends to provide small-amount payment services in consumption and e-commerce for the entire travel chain. Lingnan Tong adopts a dual-brand strategy, with "Lingnan Tong" as the main brand and local transit cards as sub-brands. Its application fields have covered public buses, subways, public bicycles, roadside parking meters, and parking lots, and expanded to small-amount payment areas such as convenience stores, supermarkets, vending machines, vegetable markets, and fast-food restaurants, becoming a multifunctional electronic payment medium for "one card in hand, smooth travel in Lingnan". Lingnan Tong is the largest cross-regional interoperable public transport one-card system in China. V.
