国光电器股份有限公司前身为广州国光电声总厂，企业历史可追溯到1951年成立的广州市国光广播器材厂，国光公司成立至今一直从事电声产品的设计和生产，是目前世界上*为系统化、专业化、规模化的扬声器、音箱设计和生产基地之一。于1993 年12 月25 日改制并定向募集内部职工股，设立股份有限公司。本公司于1995 年12 月8 日依法增资扩股并变更为外商投资股份有限公司。于2005 年4 月11 日获准发行人民币普通股A 股，并于2005 年5 月23 日在深圳证券交易所上市挂牌交易。
