Shenzhen Environmental Engineering Science and Technology Center Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Environmental Science Center") was established in 1994. It is a wholly state-owned enterprise with independent legal personality, formed by the merger and restructuring of Shenzhen Environmental Engineering Consulting Service Center and Shenzhen Environmental Management System Certification Center, which were originally affiliated institutions of the former Shenzhen Environmental Protection Bureau. The Environmental Science Center is a *high-tech enterprise. Its business scope includes environmental planning and research, government management and decision support, environmental impact assessment, soil environmental investigation and remediation, environmental protection engineering design, construction and operation, cleaner production audit, emergency response plans and risk assessment for sudden environmental incidents, environmental supervision during construction, energy conservation assessment, energy audit, energy management system construction guidance, energy conservation verification, energy conservation engineering renovation, environmental steward, carbon emission verification, ecological civilization construction and many other environmental consulting services. The Environmental Science Center currently has more than 120 technical personnel of various types, among whom those with master's degrees or above, mainly outstanding graduates from prestigious universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Nanjing University, Lanzhou University, and Shenzhen University, account for more than half. A large number of key members hold national registered professional qualification certificates such as environmental protection engineer, environmental impact assessment engineer, consulting engineer (investment), and constructor. It currently has several senior engineers who are members of various environmental protection expert databases in Guangdong Province. In addition, the Environmental Science Center has long-term employed many scholars, experts and professors who have made outstanding achievements in fields such as water, air and soil pollution treatment, forming an expert team with strong technical strength and optimized talent structure.
