Hunan Zhengyuan Institute of Energy Storage Materials and Devices

Hunan Zhengyuan Institute of Energy Storage Materials and Devices is a research institution officially established in September 2011 with the approval of the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. It currently has 3 professors, 3 Ph.Ds and postdoctoral researchers, and 12 master's degree holders, with specialties covering multiple disciplines including materials, metallurgy, chemical engineering, electrochemistry, and electronic circuits. The team has published more than 130 papers and filed more than 70 patents. The main research directions of Zhengyuan Institute are: ① new energy storage devices, materials and applications such as supercapacitors, lithium-ion power batteries, and capacitor batteries; ② new powder metallurgy materials; ③ metallurgical extraction and separation; ④ synthesis of new chemical materials, etc. Research characteristics: emphasis on applied research and industrialization technology research. At present, multiple technologies such as supercapacitors, lithium-ion batteries, capacitor batteries, electrolytes, and battery management systems have been industrialized. The main business scope of Zhengyuan Institute is: research, development and industrialization of various energy storage devices, components, materials and applied products and technologies, as well as related services such as testing and evaluation, training and promotion, factory construction and technical support.
