CSIC Materials Trading Group Chongqing Co., Ltd.

CSIC Materials Trading Group Chongqing Co., Ltd. is a wholly state-owned enterprise directly under CSIC Materials Trading Group. Its predecessor was China Shipbuilding Industry Materials Southwest Company, which was established during the national Third Front construction period and has gone through 50 years of history. It has provided solid material support for the construction, military product scientific research, and production of more than a dozen shipbuilding system enterprises in Chongqing. In 2007, CSIC Materials Trading Group Chongqing Co., Ltd., an absolutely state-controlled company, was registered with the Chongqing Administration for Industry and Commerce. The two companies operate with one management team and two signboards, and are economic entities with independent legal personality, operating independently, accounting independently, and assuming sole responsibility for their own profits and losses. The registered capital of the companies is 24 million yuan and 10 million yuan respectively, and in 2013 they achieved total sales revenue of 5 billion yuan.
Main products: ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electromechanical equipment, import and export, real estate, hotel, property management.
The company was awarded the title of "Chongqing Civilized Unit" in 1997 and 2000; in 2000 it was rated as one of the "Top 50 Steel Sales Enterprises in Chongqing" by the Chongqing Materials Information Center; and it is rated as an "Advanced Unit" by the Jiangbei District Commerce Committee every year.
