Shanghai Yisheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2009, with its headquarters in Shanghai and branch offices in Beijing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, and Guangzhou (Shenzhen). The company is dedicated to the development of enzyme-based reagents and antigens/antibodies. In 2014, it established Yeasen Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. at the Zhangjiang Pharma Valley platform as the R&D and production center of Yisheng Bio, creating the YEASEN brand. It provides high-quality products and services to research customers in the life sciences field and industrial customers in the precision medicine industry.
The company currently operates four major platforms: molecular, protein, cellular, and immunological. It offers a comprehensive product line, including PCR, qPCR, high-fidelity DNA polymerases, reverse transcriptase-related reagents, high-throughput MaxUP series DNA and RNA library preparation kits, cell culture, and mycoplasma detection, prevention, and elimination reagents. It also includes enzyme raw materials, reagents, and magnetic beads for in vitro diagnostics.
In 2016, the company established a Class 100,000 GMP production facility and automated production lines. In 2017, Yeasen Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was recognized as a High-Tech Enterprise. The second-phase site covers an area of 2,600 square meters, with the third-phase area expected to reach 8,000 square meters. The company has now grown into a first-class domestic manufacturer of enzyme reagents.
