Chongqing Changzheng Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was founded in 1967. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Company Limited under China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, and a large specialized casting and forging enterprise of the shipbuilding industry in Southwest China. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the company will focus on the strategic goal of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation to become an innovative enterprise integrating military as the foundation, military-civilian integration, leading technology, and industry-finance integration. It will adhere to taking military as the foundation, advance the implementation of the "dual-wheel drive" development plan for railway vehicles and non-vehicle products, and build a comprehensive manufacturing service-oriented large enterprise with coordinated development of five major sectors: integration, rail transit, wind power, construction machinery, and logistics trade processing.
