Beijing Guodian Futong Technology Development Co., Ltd. was established in November 2002 and registered in Fengtai Park of Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone, with a registered capital of RMB 150 million. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Grid Electric Power Research Institute (NARI Group), a directly affiliated enterprise of State Grid Corporation of China. The production base covers approximately 31,500 square meters, and the office area is 5,200 square meters. Currently, it has 522 employees, including 5 doctors, 75 masters, 154 bachelors, 3 professor-level senior engineers, 37 senior engineers, 60 engineers, and 49 assistant engineers. The company consists of 11 business departments: Pipeline Division, Mechanical Conveying Division, Pneumatic Conveying Division, Water Affairs Division, Equipment Manufacturing Division, Electric Power Chemical Division, Marketing Division, Market Development Division, International Trade Division, After-sales Service Division, and Technology Development Center, as well as 6 functional departments: General Administration Department, Human Resources Department, Finance Department, Planning Department, Materials Department, and Quality and Safety Department.

Relying on high-tech achievements, the company is mainly engaged in the research, development, sales, equipment supply, and general contracting of products related to energy saving, water conservation, environmental protection, high-pressure pipe fittings, resource recycling, clean coal technology, and electric power chemical industry. Its products are sold well across the country and have entered the international market.

The company's main products include five major categories: large-diameter high-temperature and high-pressure pipe fittings, boiler dry slag removal systems, double-pipe dense-phase pneumatic ash removal systems, tubular belt conveying systems, and biological fluidized bed wastewater treatment systems. Its high-temperature and high-pressure pipe fittings and dry slag removal technology have reached the leading level in China, breaking the monopoly of foreign companies and achieving the highest domestic market share. In recent years, the company has developed and industrialized new technologies and products, including comprehensive utilization of lignite upgrading, coal chemical wastewater treatment, organic-inorganic hybrid nano-RTV coating, and closed-loop water cooling systems for DC converter valves, all of which have reached internationally advanced levels.

The company has obtained certifications for quality management system (ISO9001:2008), environmental management system (ISO14001:2004), and occupational health and safety management system (GB/T 28001-2001). It holds the National Special Equipment Manufacturing License (pressure piping and pressure vessels), ASME pressure vessel "U" and power piping "PP" stamps with authorization certificates. It has obtained the Grade III qualification for professional contracting of national environmental engineering and the Grade B design qualification for environmental engineering special projects. It has achieved AAA credit rating and has the right to import and export products and technologies.

In 2005, the company was rated as one of the "National Enterprises with the Most Growth Potential among Small and Medium-sized Industrial Enterprises" by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Bureau of Statistics. From 2006 to 2010, it was recognized for five consecutive years as an enterprise with outstanding fiscal contributions to Fengtai Science and Technology Park. It is also a key enterprise supported for restructuring and listing in Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park. In 2008, it passed the certification as one of the first batch of "High-tech Enterprises" in Beijing.
