我校创办于1997年，由社会人士举办的，有小学、初中两个学段组成。目前占地面积有13000多平方米，建筑面积8000多平方米，专用场室一应俱全，计算机室2间，学生电脑112台，音乐室3间，每间均配有1架价值1万多元的钢琴，物理室、化学室、美术室、队部室、多媒体综合室……共有20间，设备设施齐全。我校面向外来工子弟，坚持为外来工服务的宗旨。学校以德育为基础，以教学为中心，以质量求生存，办学理念新，教学效果好。
