I. Company Introduction
Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Research Institute, established in 2011 and located in the Future Network Valley in Jiangning District, Nanjing, is a provincial-level scientific research institution formed with Nanjing Municipal Government, Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Tsinghua University, and China Academy of Electronics and Information Technology as council member units. As a professional institution dedicated to core technology research and development of future networks in China, the Institute aims to build a world-class communication and network innovation base and industrial highland, striving to become the network leader guiding the future development of networks in China, the scientific research pioneer achieving breakthroughs in key communication and network technologies, and the industrial source for the development of new-generation information technology.
The Institute has established an expert committee comprising 14 academicians and 2 senior experts, attracting outstanding talents from well-known enterprises and universities at home and abroad, and has formed a high-level R&D team of over 500 people in 18 teams led by Academician Liu Yunjie. Focusing on top-level design of future networks, technology R&D, standard promotion, intellectual property protection, industrial incubation and development, the Institute vigorously promotes the R&D and application of related technologies, products, and solutions, fosters international exchanges and cooperation, and has achieved a series of significant results. It has taken the lead globally in proposing the Service Customized Network (SCN) architecture, independently developed programmable virtual router platforms, network awareness measurement systems, intelligent network resource control and scheduling distribution systems, and other key future network devices that have been put into practical use.
