China Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (referred to as 'Sinopharm'), serving as the core investment platform for Sinopharm's Traditional Chinese Medicine industry segment. It is also the national general distributor of the first-class new traditional Chinese medicine, the First Prize winner of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Progress, and the traditional Chinese medicine product 'Artificial Musk'. Its predecessor was the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Company, established in 1955, which was once the founder of the production, operation, and research system of traditional Chinese medicine in New China, responsible for the comprehensive balance of production, supply, and sales of traditional Chinese medicine nationwide as well as industry management, making indelible historical contributions to the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine. The company's business scope covers proprietary Chinese medicines, traditional Chinese medicinal materials, prepared slices of traditional Chinese medicines, chemical drug preparations, chemical raw materials, antibiotics, biochemical drugs, biological products, second-class psychotropic drug preparations, protein anabolic agents and peptide hormones, toxic traditional Chinese medicinal materials, toxic TCM decoction pieces, etc., with a focus on the legal and reasonable development and application of animal medicinal material resources. Particularly, it has notable advantages in the operation of many resource-scarce medicinal material varieties such as pangolin, musk, antelope horn, medicinal snakes, and dragon's blood, and enjoys a high reputation within the industry.
